Gear Selector Pawls MB New Style Summary
MB Gear selector pawls, These are the new oversized type that don`t reqire circlips. The thing with these is that they are oversized so you drill out the wishbone with a 5.5 drill and just fit, they come as a PAIR to do one gear box rebuild....
To fit these pawls
- Drill out the wishbone from 5 to 5.5mm, run the drill up and down to make sure pawls spin free
- Make sure there are no burrs so clean them up
- Grease the straight shank of the pawls as you fit them to hold in position until fitted on the selector
